Institution
About
An honest account of what this website is, how its content is governed, and which facts are still to be published. Institutional history, ownership, affiliation and scale are stated only from verified records.

Editorial standard
What is published, and on what basis
A hospital website is used to make decisions under pressure. That makes accuracy a safety matter, not a marketing preference.
- Verification before publication
- Clinical and operational content is published only after the accountable team confirms it. Where confirmation is outstanding, the page says so rather than filling the gap.
- Review and dating
- Health information pages carry the date they were last reviewed and the team that reviewed them, so you can judge how current they are.
- No promotional claims
- No superlatives, rankings, awards, outcome figures or comparisons appear without a documented source. Absence of a badge is not absence of quality; it is absence of evidence we can show you.
- Plain language
- Content is written to be understood the first time, including by people who are unwell, tired or reading in a second language.
- Corrections
- If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and it will be corrected. Report an error.
Accreditation and quality
Verified credentials
No accreditations are published yet
Accreditations, licences, teaching status, research affiliations and quality metrics appear here only with the awarding body named and the date verified. None have been supplied for publication, so none are shown, including implicitly through badges or logos.
Research and education
Academic activity
No research or teaching claims are published
Teaching-hospital status, university affiliation, research institutes, clinical trials and publications are significant claims. They are published only with verifiable detail, and never summarised in the meantime. No trials are listed and no enrolment is invited from this site.
